I have over seven years of hands-on experience supporting individuals with special needs, including individuals on the autism spectrum. As a caregiver, personal assistant, and Direct Support Professional, I provided individualized care focused on safety, dignity, and independence. My responsibilities included assisting with personal care and activities of daily living, meal preparation, household management, and daily routines. I also helped individuals develop essential life skills, improve social and communication skills, participate in community activities, and navigate outings safely.
