Hello! I'm a second-career nursing student with one year left in my program and a background in psychiatric and geriatric mental health care. I'm in my 30s and live in the Squirrel Hill area with my husband. I have experience working with older adults in geriatric psychiatry, veterans, and I'm comfortable supporting a wide range of needs--from companionship and daily routines to emotional support and medication reminders. My mental health background helps me create calm, respectful, and safe environments while being attentive to each person's preferences and life history. I enjoy connecting with seniors through music, classic movies, crafts, and meaningful conversation, and I value learning about the lives and experiences of those I care for. I believe great care is rooted in presence, dignity, and genuine connection. I'm CPR certified, dependable, and take pride in providing thoughtful, patient-centered care.
