About Mahiya

Hi, I'm Mahiya! I'm a part-time photographer and full-time online psychology student, which allows me to focus on the children I nanny. I regularly volunteer with pre-K kids at my church nursery, helping them express themselves and communicate kindly. I believe every child deserves to be surrounded by supportive people who nurture their growth, individuality, and acceptance of others. As the oldest sibling and cousin, I have experience with kids of all ages, including those with Down syndrome. I'm happy to assist with daily routines like dressing, brushing teeth, and teaching life skills such as cooking or tidying up. I'm also open to light household tasks like laundry and cleaning up after the kids. I believe kids thrive when they feel safe and have opportunities to explore.
