Hi! My name is Mahika, and I am a 20-year-old bilingual student at Temple University. I am majoring in Communications and Advocacy, and minoring in Art! After college, I would like to go to Law school to become a Human Rights Lawyer and legal advocate for marginalized communities. This Spring I am taking a semester off of school and interning, and I m also looking for a loving family to work for part time or occasionally when needed! From the age of 13, when I was the go to neighbor babysitter, to now, I have cared for several children ranging from infants to teens. I have also been a math peer tutor; conflict peer mediator, summer camp instructor, and art/dance class teacher. I am a very nurturing, hardworking and creative individual who has a great ability to connect with little humans! Some of my hobbies include: dancing, crafting, ceramics, cooking, public policy advocacy, volunteering, and playing with my furry friends.

Mahika was so helpful with my kids. I hired her for the summer, since my kids were out of school and a little too high energy. I wanted a babysitter who did more than just drive them to swim practice and make sure they were fed. My 2 kids are glued to technology and I did not want to reinforce that while I was at work. I also hired Mahika as an art tutor for my kids, to ensure that they would have a well-rounded activity schedule while I was away. She taught them the basics of pottery and painting, and now I have such cute little mugs to sip my morning coffee from. Overall, Mahika was the best caretaker I have had. My kids always ask about her coming back because she paid so much individual attention to them. She was always on time and extremely communicative if there were any questions on either end.
