About Maheen

I love working with kids! It allows me to be a positive influence during some of the most important years of their development. Having that opportunity comes with a responsibility that I hold at high importance! I started working with kids when I was in highschool professionally (unprofessionally I've been since I was 10 and my two baby brothers were born). In high school I babysat two pre-school aged siblings at the same time. I also worked for an after school cooking/baking programs in different school districts at the elementary level. I also have experience with younger and older special needs kids. Throughout my early college days, I worked at the Goddard school and have done outdoor summer camps as well! In my spare time, I love to be outside mostly. I'm a big hiker and outdoors girl. I also have a creative side so I love reading, painting, doing fun crafts, or baking. As a kid, I felt like I needed constant entertainment so it led to being an adult with multiple hobbies!
