In my career in health care I was fortunate to be able to get experiences working with Children with Special needs. My Mentor in Health care owns some Group Homes in St. Petersburg which one of those I worked part time helping her on a Saturday as a Group Homes Assistant Administrator. Working taking care of children with special needs is like taking care of your own children and /or younger siblings, treat them well and love them and they will love you back. Currently I'm taking care of 2 people that is mentally challenged. I enjoyed working with them and treat them as a normal person but with extra care. I tried to make them happy and occupied and help and assist them to reach their goals.
