About Maggie

Hi! My name is Maggie! I have over 10 years of experience getting paid to provide childcare but I have been around children my whole life. My mother had an in home daycare in our house from when I was an infant to when I was 15 years old. I started babysitting for family friends at about 11-12 and did it until I turned 18. I started college and worked at a daycare the whole time I was in college. Towards the end of my undergraduate degree which was in psychology and social work I decided I wanted to get a masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis. I then began working at a behavior therapy client working with children on the Autism spectrum and where I still work. I'd describe my personality as calm, driven, and willing. I like working with kids because your childhood is what sets you up for the rest of your life and children are the future adults of the world. My skills include patience, responsible and gentle.
