About Maggie

Caring for children has been a large part of my life for over 24 years now. I have worked as either a nanny and babysitter (or both) for close to 30 families, and have volunteered over 450 hours of my time at multiple daycare facilities. I have also previously been employed as an infant teacher at a center here in town. I consider infants and toddlers to be my specialty, however I have extensive experience with every age group. I pride myself on my patience and love to work on fostering age appropriate independence, art, social, motor, mental and emotional skills. I have experience with baby led weaning, potty training, sleep training, behavioral issues, baby sign language and more. While spending time with kids, I love playing, reading with them, singing songs, spending time outside, having picnics, going on walks, and (if permitted) taking them to age appropriate activities around town, including the splash pads, parks, play groups, nature trails, the library, open gym, etc.
