My name is Maggie I have over 35 years of experience working with children, in daycare settings, in my house and other homes. I am available for up to 5-6 hours as I have a small senior dog that will be 14 years old in August. She has congestive heart failure so that's why I am looking for part time work for now. And I could work more hours if you'd be comfortable with me taking care of your children at my house for a couple hours. Which is what I do for my current family: start at their house then head back to my house, check on my dog (Daisy) and then go to story time, mini movers, Playscape or park. I like to plan activities around town and in your/my house. I love structure and routine! Preparing some kind of lesson plan is what I like to do and I have a lots of arts and crafts and ideas to entertain your children. I've retired from and ran a successful Community Resource Center for 9 years.

Maggie was very comfortable with our family right away. I have two children age 9 and 14. They both have enjoyed the time they spend with her. She comes prepared. She will bring projects, or arts and crafts, or games with her. So that gives the kids something to look forward to. It really shows she is thinking about them before she comes. I would recommend her to any family with kids of different ages. She has a good personality, very warm and kind.
