About Maggie

I teach 6th grade math, and have been teaching this for two years. Before that, I taught 2nd grade. Before I went back for my Master's in education, I was a paraeducator at Elementary School the past two years, a tutor at High for 4 years before that and Middle School for 2 years. I've worked with all ages. I have 10 nieces and nephews and 3 great nieces and a great nephew aged 0-27 so lots of babysitting experience. I am First Aid/CPR certified. I was a coach for Girl's on the Run and a Big Sister in the Big Brothers Big Sisters Program. I can tutor math, do light housekeeping, love animals and I am really good with children and pray for my own family daily. I can teach math, but there is something to be said about building relationships with kids and encouraging and molding them to be good humans.

Maggie has been THE BEST sitter we’ve ever had! She is kind, intelligent, and always plays with the kids. Each time we hire her, she feeds them, gets them ready for bed, reads to them, cleans up after supper - we trust her 100%! Our kids get excited every time Maggie is coming over. =)
