About Maggie

I am a creative and patient individual with a passion for fostering children's growth. With seven years of experience as a certified teacher and childcare provider, I am comfortable caring for several children at a time (I'm used to a class of 20) and enforcing household rules. I've always been drawn to working with children, from my time as a children's theatre director and choreographer to my work as a literacy assistant. I hold early childhood education (ECE) and early child development coursework, and I'm always looking for new ways to help children learn and grow. As a caregiver, I believe in open communication with parents, whether it's through verbal updates at pickup or regular texts or phone calls. I follow the child's lead and scaffold their interests with new activities. I'm also happy to help with cooking, meal preparation, carpooling, and light housekeeping. I'm excited to bring my skills and experience to your family and help your child reach their full potential.
