About Maggie

I'm a natural caretaker with a lot of caring, empathic energy. I have been babysitting since I was a teen, summer nannying since I was in high school, and full-time nannying for the last seven years. I specialize in caring for children ranging from infancy to 7 years old. For example, I have been with my last family for five years (beginning when the eldest was the only child at 15 months). I worked at the Child Development Center on campus during my soph. year of college. I am CPR/First Aid certified. I take great pride in fostering self-esteem, empathy, and wonder in children. I adore working with children and animals. I have two dogs of my own; a German Shepherd and a Brittany spaniel. I have experience with dogs of all sizes through babysitting and pet sitting. I worked at a zoo and in the education center of a botanical gardens. The environment and conservation are my other passions along with photography, drawing, baking, biking, hiking, and any outdoor activity.
