Hello! I'm a 28-year-old part-time student, currently working on my prerequisites to get a Masters or accelerated Bachelors of Science in Nursing. I'm hoping to work part-time while I attend school. :) I have over 15 years of childcare experience for a range of ages, from babies to teenagers-- including experience with children with special needs. I used to work as a tutor for students in K-12th grades, and have volunteered as a tutor to ESOL students (specifically Spanish-speakers hoping to learn English). I love animals, particularly dogs. I'm also an avid soccer player and like to get outside, but I appreciate the value of indoor activities such as reading, learning, and imaginative play, as well. Maggie was an therapist and baby sitter for my son. Our Son has a diagnosis of Autism and Sensory Integration Dysfunction. Maggie showed amazing patience and kindness towards. It has been years since she sat for him, but my son talks about Maggie all the time. As a single parent finding someone to trust with my most precious gift can be unnerving, but I am so thankful for someone who displayed professionalism and compassion at the same time to make an impact in our lives.
