Nena was our full-time nanny from when our twins were 10 weeks old until they were toddlers, and we truly could not have asked for better. She is incredibly loving, patient, kind, and calm—completely unflappable in the face of baby and toddler chaos. Her experience and steady presence helped our twins thrive; they are happy, healthy, and securely attached thanks in large part to her care. Nena is professional, respectful, and wonderfully perceptive—she intuitively understood our kids’ personalities and needs and always kept them safe while fostering joy and routine. She helped integrate them into neighborhood playgroups and was always attentive—not just to our kids, but to others around her as well. Never on her phone, always present. She was flexible with hours, helpful around the house during naps, and on weekends brought her sweet daughter (with our permission), who our kids adored. We stayed in the Bay Area longer just to keep Nena—any family would be truly lucky to have her!
