About Maegan

Unlocking a student's unique potential is at the heart of my teaching approach. With one year of experience supporting elementary students in Math, English, Science, and test preparation, I focus on building confidence rather than simple memorization. I adapt to your child's specific needs by observing how they interact with new material and incorporating visual aids or hands-on activities. When concepts become challenging, I break them into manageable steps and celebrate every small success to maintain momentum. I believe clear, consistent communication with parents is essential to creating a collaborative environment. Nothing is more rewarding than witnessing that "aha!" moment when a student finally masters a difficult skill. I am comfortable working with pets and happy to provide support directly in your home. I truly look forward to helping your child discover the joy of learning.
