I have experience being around and caring for children and teens with different needs. My mom worked with children with special needs for about five years, so I grew up around kids with a variety of abilities and learned the importance of patience, understanding, and meeting each person where they are. I also have a cousin who experienced a serious accident that resulted in permanent brain damage, which has given me personal experience with someone who needs extra patience, support, and understanding. I'm comfortable being active, going out into the community, and adapting to different personalities and situations. I'm caring, responsible, and dependable.
