About Madison

I'd describe my personality as energetic, nurturing, and kind I like tutoring because it allows me to work with students in a smaller setting and help them to see faster growth from individual support! I started tutoring when I was a freshman in high school (13 years ago) and have either tutored or something similar ever since! I did Barton tutoring for students with dyslexia in high school, I tutored the athletes at my college in ELA, and then was an elementary teacher for the past 5. 5 years. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my husband and daughter, read, craft, and go on walks/ hikes! One thing you should know about me is I am passionate about education and will work hard to provide the best experience for you and your child! My skills include creating engaging activities, an individualized approach by scaffolding lessons to meet student needs, and helping students build confidence in themselves as a learner so they can love school and learning again!
