I have hands-on experience as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) working with both children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities. I have provided individualized support focused on communication, social skills, emotional regulation, daily living skills, independence, and positive behavior development. My experience includes implementing treatment plans, using positive reinforcement and behavior-support strategies, collecting data, documenting progress, and collaborating with supervisors and families. Working with individuals across different ages and ability levels has strengthened my patience, communication, adaptability, and problem-solving skills. I am passionate about building trusting relationships, respecting each person's individuality and dignity, and helping those I support develop confidence and greater independence.
