I was raised to learn how to help with care-taking starting at 10 years old. In 2015 I was caretaking for a heart attack patient during a triple bypass at the age of 22. (Dad) Same year, I started caretaking for a kidney cancer patient with 5 autoimmune diseases (my mom). During COVID 2020, same person had stroke and seizures caused by rare blood disease. Speech, psychical, & mental therapy was needed. I have been a full time caretaker for these people since COVID. Everything from driving, doctors & medication management, food prep & daily living.
