About Madison

Hi!! My name is Madi, I am currently finishing out my first year as a 4th grade teacher and previously taught 2nd grade for 2 years- I love working with kids! Before college, I worked at the YMCA as a summer camp counselor and lifeguard for 1 year with children age 8-11. As a camp counselor I got my CPR and First Aid certification, and although since expiring, I still hold the background knowledge in those skills! While in college, I was an online tutor for a few months, as well as a summer school assistant teacher for 1st and 3rd grade. The past two summers, I was a full time nanny for families with two children ages 2 and 4. I cooked, cleaned, did laundry, pick up and drop off from school, doctors appointments, and birthday parties, etc. I currently spend my free time tutoring for a family with kids in preK and 3rd grade! I love supporting children with their social, emotional, and academic needs all while having fun! I believe I would be an amazing fit to care for your kiddo(s)!
