About Madison
Hello, I am currently enrolled in the nursing program at USF (I commute from San Jose). My first clinical rotation was on the geriatrics rehab floor. My responsibilities included, but limited to: bathing the patient, helping them transport from bed to the bathroom and helping them cleanse themselves, taking their vitals, and helped with administration of their medications. The greatest aspect of my job responsibilities was actually getting to know my patient and treating them as a human, not just a patient in the hospital. I enjoyed hearing all about their life stories. It was a very awarding experience taking care of them and making them as comfortable as possible.
