Hi! My name is Maddy, I'm 22 and I've been working in childcare for about 7 years now. When I was in high school, I was part of an after school program, where we went to the local elementary school and helped the children who may have been behind their classes overall reading level, practice reading. I've been working at the same summer camp for the last 7 years. We work with children from 3rd to 10th grade who all come from a large variety of different backgrounds. I ran our science and nature program for two years, our creative arts program for one, and I'm now working with the oldest group of children to teach them how to become a staff member. I was lifeguard certified up until August, however I plan on getting re-certified soon! I'm a little shy at first but, I enjoy being creative, learning, and I do love a good "to-do list"! Im flexible so my availability is whatever you may need.
