About Madison

Hi! I'm Madison, a certified English Language Arts teacher (grades 6-12) with experience supporting children and teens through education, mentorship, and structured care. I currently teach middle school ELA and work with 140+ students annually, building reading, writing, and study skills through structured, individualized support. I also have experience with IEP and 504 accommodations and supporting students who need consistency and encouragement. Alongside teaching, I've worked as a peer mentor and mental health advocate, supporting youth with communication, confidence-building, and emotional regulation. I also have Youth and Adult Mental Health First Aid training. As a nanny, I bring a calm, structured approach focused on safety, routines, and independence. I'm especially comfortable with school-aged children and teens, including homework help and after-school support. Availability: full-time over the summer starting June 15, and part-time during the school year.
