About Madison

Hello! My name is Madison, and I am a student at the UCF studying Communication Sciences and Disorders to become a Speech-Language Pathologist. I was also part of UCF's LEAD Scholars program, where I learned leadership skills through volunteering and community service. I first started working with children while volunteering at UCP of Central Florida, where I gained experience supporting children with a variety of needs. I loved the experience so much that I later became a substitute teacher there. Since then, I have worked with children from infants through 8th grade, including children with disabilities, and I truly enjoy being part of such inclusive classrooms. As a student, I am looking for a position that works with my school schedule while allowing me to continue gaining experience with children, as I hope to become a pediatric SLP in the future.
