About Madison

Hello there! I am a rock-solid, well-educated and whimsically joyful child care professional with a true adoration for children and the way they think. My background is rich with experience. I taught sewing classes for ages 4-13 with the LA parks department, chess classes to 2-3rd graders with Chess Wizards, worked as an experience attendant/tour guide at the California Academy of Sciences, and have worked as a travel nanny for babies, toddlers, children and their parents. I am also a skilled creator with a natural inclination to teach, so I'm eager to foster creative lessons with your kids. I have a degree in literature and value storytelling and word smithing in my childcare. I worked as a puppet builder at Bob Baker's Marionette Theatre and create and sell crochet and sewn handmade pieces. I love to draw, paint, sculpt, whittle, and do just about any craft with my hands, and love even more to help little hands do the same!
