Being an aunt to three beautiful and energetic girls has shown me how much I love taking care of children. I have been an "assistant babysitter" to my mom for the last four years, as she is a full time grandma. I have recently tried working in a daycare, but learned that it would be best for me to work individually with children, to make sure they are getting the appropriate care they need. I find it easiest for me to build individual bonds with children through kindness and trust, which makes separation anxiety an easier transition. It is self rewarding for me to be dependable for children. I am also a mother to two beautiful boys, my 2-year-old Golden Retriever, and my 1-year-old Saint Bernard.
