About Madison

I'd describe my personality as caring, intelligent, passionate, and calm. I like working with kids because I think children can give you different perspectives on life and bring a youthful, fun energy to your day to day. I'm looking for a job that gives a me sense of fulfillment. I started working with kids when I interned my senior year. I worked at my local elementary school, in a first grade classroom, and I felt that working with kids was my calling. Since then I have babysat and now currently work at the same school as a paraprofessional in the special education room. I also have three younger siblings, so I have always had experience with children. In my spare time, I like to read, write and travel, as well as try new restaurants. One thing you should know about me is I am not a very great chef but I am willing to learn. My skills include getting kids ready for school and other activities, homework help, child enrichment/engagement, and teaching kids new skills.
