I've been babysitting since I was in junior high, and have nannied as well (toddler age up to 10). I love to do hands-on activities with the kiddos and get them away from screen time! Love playing sports, doing crafts, going for walks, making dinner, and reading books. I've taken kids I've nannied to the zoo, taught them guitar, and made lots of silly dances! Madie is a nanny for my three kids - two teen boys and 10 year old daughter. I needed her to mainly keep my daughter active and taken care of over the summer and Madie went above and beyond what I asked of her. From teaching her to play some chords on her guitar, doing arts and crafts almost daily, to keeping her connected with friends by orchestrating play dates of swimming, window shopping and the zoo. Madie also encouraged my daughter to complete her chores and helped me out with driving all three kids to and from activities each week. I found it invaluable to know my kids where we'll taken care of, that I could depend on Madie to keep their schedules in order and most importantly, to give my daughter a fun and memorable summer while I was working. Madie is positive, responsible, trustworthy and flexible.
