About Madelyn

I'm an educator by trade, with 14+ years working with kids ages 3+ in a professional setting. I'm a licensed teacher, have instructed and directed at summer camps and ski schools for 10+ years, and have 20+ years of childcare experience. My favorite way to work with kids is by empowering them to explore and experience their world through fun, safety, and positive risk taking. As a caregiver, I am enthusiastic, caring, empathetic, and patient. I enjoy keeping a functional home and am happy to help with chores, errands, and other housework. I'm a life-long pet owner and will treat your pets like family. My own hobbies include outdoor recreation (skiing, hiking, and paddling are my favorites), music and arts, and spending with with family and friends. I'm available most evenings and can typically accommodate either planned or last-minute babysitting needs. I am punctual with a reliable vehicle, although I am not able to offer transportation for kiddos in my vehicle at this time.
