About Madelyn

GENERAL BIO I would really love to find a family who would want to build a relationship in order to provide the best possible environment for the child! I am the type of caregiver that loves to chat after a work day to talk about their child's development or just a funny story from the day! I am a senior at Northwestern University, so my schedule changes in January, so I would love to be with a family willing to work with the time we both have available! I focus on a very child-based approach and pull from Montessori principles and Reggio Emilio activities. My favorite phrase is "help me to help myself" all about how it's my job as a caregiver to create the environment and teach the child so they are able to do things on their own, without leaving them to just figure it out. I want to ensure they feel safe and loved even when their favorite people are gone!
