About Madelyn

Madelyn made a great first impression as a personal assistant. I desperately needed help organizing and planning a 3 week trip, she made me believe I was in good hands. I was so relieved when she agreed to take care of my home and cat while I was away, on top of planning and packing!! Then 5 days before my trip, 45mins before her shift she sent a text that she would not be coming by, had decided to end our business relationship!! Although we had agreed to discuss any issues that arose, she gave no explanation, and never responded to the texts I sent. Certainly not the trustworthy person she portrayed herself to be. She left me scrambling to sort out what she had done and what she had committed to do. In reviewing what she had done, there were an inordinate number of mistakes, including having booked my Eurorail pass with the wrong last name (hers). A mistake I was unable to rectify. Her unprofessionalism and emotional immaturity was shocking. Needless to say, I would not hire her again. I feel certain there are trustworthy people on care.com, but she’s not it.
