About Madeline

Hi my name is Maddie and I'm so excited to meet you! I have been a teacher for the last several years, most recently a Lower Elementary Montessori teacher for 6-9-year-olds. I have also been a 2nd grade public school teacher, a camp counselor, and I am now very excited to transition to nannying. I have my bachelor's and master's degrees in elementary education and I am very passionate about fostering children's independence and helping them grow into the best versions of themselves. I am most comfortable working with children in the 4-9-year-old range, but I am also definitely open to caring for babies and toddlers. I love nurturing children's development and getting to see their unique perspectives on the world. As a Montessori teacher, I am a strong believer in "follow the child" and allowing kids to have agency over their lives. I have my teaching license, my Montessori teaching credential, and I am CPR/AED/ First Aid certified and regularly recertify.
