About Madeline

I'd describe my personality as outgoing, patient, and kind. I like working with kids because I find it rewarding to be someone they can trust, have fun with, and learn from. I started working with kids when I was a sophomore in high school while I would babysit and care for my cousins and family friends. Then, continued to do after school care at elementary schools my junior and senior year of high school. In my spare time, I like to go to the gym and go on runs/walks, and bringing my dogs to the beach. One thing you should know about me is I am going to school at UMass Amherst studying Biology on the Pre-Med track to be a pediatrician in the future and just finished my freshman year! My skills include medical first obviously, CPR, first aid including EpiPens, Heimlich, use of defibrillator, and more. Another skill in child care is understanding and patience. Another skill I would say is leadership and being a positive influence on the children growing up.
