About Madeline

Hi, my name is Maddy and I am an incoming graduate student at LIU studying Genetic Counseling. I am originally from Minnesota and have worked with kids my whole life. I was a summer camp counselor, baby sitter, after school care provider, and worked at an autism center for children. My undergraduate degree was in both biology and psychology, so I have experience with childhood development. In my free time I like to do anything outside whether that is hiking, canoeing, or camping. I am super excited to get to know a family that is in need of individualized child care! I am looking for a family that needs assistance in the mornings before school, whether that is getting kids off to school, walking the dog, and/or picking up the house. I'd describe my personality as bubbly, empathetic, and hard working. My skills include encouraging children to find their voice, maintaining safety while playing, and behavior management.
