About Madeline

I have personal and meaningful experience in senior care, especially with individuals living with dementia. For the past few years, I've helped care for my grandmother, who has dementia, and it's given me a deep understanding of the patience, compassion, and consistency needed to support seniors with memory loss and other age-related challenges. Through this experience, I've learned how to assist with daily routines such as meal preparation, medication reminders, bathing, dressing, light housekeeping, and providing emotional support. Most importantly, I've learned how to create a calm, safe, and comforting environment while maintaining a sense of dignity and respect for the person I'm caring for. I understand the importance of routine and familiarity, and I've become very attentive to non-verbal cues, mood shifts, and changes in behavior.
