About Madeline

I grew up in Colorado in a house that sometimes felt more like a petting zoo than a home. We had dogs and cats (both of which had litters at various points), plus a rotating cast of "temporary" pets that somehow became permanent: a snake, a lizard, a mouse, pheasants, turkeys, and chickens. My parents drew the line at a pony, but I did campaign hard. Being around animals has always been a core part of my life. I'm comfortable with all types of temperaments-shy, high-energy, high-maintenance, or just plain weird. I've pet-sat for dogs that needed meds and chickens that needed herding (yes, really), and I take pride in being reliable, tidy, and genuinely affectionate with every animal I care for. Basically: if your pets need love, walks, meds, playtime, or just someone to talk to while they nap-I'm your girl.
