About Madeline

Hi, I'm Madeline! I'm a student at the University of South Carolina studying English, with plans to be a School Librarian after finishing grad school. I have been working with kids for about five years now, as a sitter, nanny, and preschool teacher. I worked as a nanny to three kids during my senior year of high school until I moved away for college. Since January of this year I have been working as a permanent sub at a local preschool. This means I get to teach in many different classrooms, ages infant-4yo. I have worked with kids from 2 months to 11yo. I am comfortable entertaining screen-free kids with time outside, crafts, and other creative activities that encourage imagination and critical thinking. I love to have fun, but I also understand that structure is super important, and I'm happy to follow whatever routines work best with your family. I can drive, cook, clean, and help with homework. I am also comfortable around pets and have experience in pet care if needed.
