You need peace of mind. Your senior needs companionship. Listening to their stories and memories brings meaning to their day. I enjoy looking at photos and reminiscing. I was very close with my great G'ma, who lived to be almost 91. I saw the value in maintaining meaningful connections and a great quality of life! I love being able to offer families peace of mind knowing their loved one is well cared for. I'm looking for a job in which I find a sense of purpose knowing that I'm bringing joy and comfort to someone. I started caring for seniors when I was 15. I was hired to sit and cook for an elderly neighbor who had dementia. I became very involved with the care of my great grandmother. In my spare time, I care for my houseplants, cooking/baking, puzzles, handwork hobbies, and two pets. Even though I'm not a social worker, I believe in their code of ethics. Dignity and worth of the person and the importance of human relationships for all. I'm highly empathic and compassionate.
