About Madeline

I have always had an affinity with caring for others even at a young age. My sister is two years younger than me, and growing up with parents that worked a lot, I became quite independent and responsible for keeping us fed and safe. Our neighborhood also offered plenty of child care opportunities. Later on in high school, I had a good neighbor who became a lifelong friend who I would regularly watch her young infant and preschooler (when I wasn't working for my mom at her restaurant). I consider myself responsible, compassionate, and capable. I love to cook, keep a tidy space, and engage in play and crafts. I am concerned with putting my heart into my work with open and honest communication with the families I work with. I truly value feedback and am willing to follow your families routine as well as improvise my own activities. In my personal life I have a love of animals, movies, music, nature, and creative endeavors, which I enjoy fostering in the children I work with.
