About Madeline

As the daughter of a teacher, I have always loved working with kids and empowering them to feel confident in themselves and to grow academically. I want to create an environment that fosters a love for learning and boosts their self esteem by enabling them to understand concepts or subjects they previously struggled with. With a bachelors degree in mathematics with a minor in statistics and a masters degree in information and data science, I bring strong subject matter expertise to my tutoring abilities, as well as adaptable teaching styles catered to the student's needs and positive attitude to help grow their confidence and feel accomplished and motivated. I have been working as a tutor for the last 8 years, mostly focused on high school and college students on more advanced math subjects like pre-calculus, calculus, statistics, etc, however I also feel comfortable with younger children and other subjects such as science.
