About Madeleine

Hi! I'm a senior psychology major/biology & neuroscience minor at Gettysburg College! I have taken developmental psych courses and I work in the developmental psych lab and am designing my own honors research project. I have been working in paid childcare for 8 years- babysitting/nannying (8 years), camp counselor (3 years) and 1:1 aide for special needs children (3 years), PCA for adults with severe disabilities, and as a teacher for autistic children at a specialized school for autism using ABA therapy. I have volunteered with the el centro tutoring program and the casa swim swimming lessons. I have experience with severely disabled children, seizures, feeding tubes, diapers, nonverbal communication, and first aid. I plan to go to graduate school to further my studies in developmental or clinical psychology. I love kids and I would love to help your family!
