Maddy babysat my two children weeknights while I worked. I appreciated her care and the light housework she did. However, she texted in sick several times with varying degrees of notice. And then she texted half an hour before I needed to leave for work to say she quit. When I asked if she could keep working until we could find a replacement, she refused. I found her behavior very unprofessional. If reliability is important, I do not recommend hiring her.
