About Madeleine Claire

I'm a recent graduate of Cal Poly SLO, where I earned my B. S. in Child Development. I am now pursuing a Master's program in Speech-Language Pathology! I have hands-on experience supporting children and families in a variety of settings--from assisting nurses and families in labor & delivery and postpartum units, to working in preschool, elementary, and special education classrooms. I spent three years at the Cal Poly Preschool, currently work as a paraeducator in an elementary special education program, and have also taught at an early childhood center caring for infants and toddlers. Additionally, I have experience as a dance teacher, integrating creativity, movement, and whole-child education into my work with children. Beyond the classroom, I have been a longtime babysitter and nanny, and I am happy to assist with cooking, cleaning, driving, and homework!
