Growing up in a household of seven, including two siblings with special needs, taught me patience, empathy, and the joy of caring for children with diverse backgrounds and needs. My educational path led me to the University of Washington, where I earned a B. A. and an MBA. Presently, I am a doctoral student of naturopathic medicine at Bastyr University (I am CPR/First Aid certified for Basic Life Support). My journey prior to returning to school took me to Latin America for seven years where I met my husband, enriching my life with new cultures and languages. There, I taught English to young learners and became adept in Spanish. I'm also a certified yoga instructor, emphasizing the importance of health and balance in life. I moved to North County San Diego in 2023 from Central America ready to bring my global experience and holistic approach to childcare into new opportunities.
