About Maddie

Hi! I'm a freshman at the College of Charleston studying Early Childhood Education with the goal of becoming a kindergarten teacher. I've always loved working with kids and creating a fun, safe, and welcoming environment! I have 4 years of experience as an overnight camp counselor and have worked in after-school childcare at my local YMCA, primarily in the Pre-K and Kindergarten classroom. I also have experience through student teaching in high school and babysitting for multiple families, Including families with infants. I'm CPR and First Aid certified. I love getting to know kids and planning fun activities they enjoy!
