About Maddie

Hi! My name is Maddie and I am originally from Rhode Island, though I have been in NC for almost 5 years now. I graduated college from American University with both my bachelor and master degrees, and have 7+ years of experience in childcare. I've worked with children of all ages, from infants to teens, and I truly enjoy helping them learn, grow, and thrive in a safe and loving environment. I am First Aid/CPR/AED certified (expires November 2026) through the American Red Cross, and I also hold a CDA (Child Development Associate) certification in Family Childcare. I am currently working to complete my Newborn Care Specialist certification through The Newborn Care Training Academy (an NCSA accredited program). I have a clean driving record, and I am fully vaccinated (recently received my flu shot and COVID booster in October 2025). I am very pet friendly as I have 3 cats and 3 dogs of my own!
