About Maddie

Nurturing children has always been my passion. For 15 years, I've had the joy of watching kids learn and grow. I hold a college degree and have completed Early Childhood Education (ECE) and Early Child Development coursework. I am also a Certified special educator in Illinois (PEL with LBS1 and TESOL endorsement). I enjoy playing board games, completing puzzles, and teaching educational games with children. I'm comfortable caring for up to four children, from birth to adulthood; I have experience caring for persons aged 3 months to 30+ years old. I am patient, creative, and friendly. I follow parents' leads on household rules and preferred communication methods. I'm happy to help with cooking, light housekeeping, carpooling, and crafts. I have been CPR and First Aid trained multiple times, but do not have current certification. I look forward to the opportunity to bring my experience and enthusiasm to your family!
