In my teens, I helped out my cousin with her dog walking/dog sitting business while she was on maternity leave. Since then, I have always stopped to help her out with some of her clients before I went to college here in Wisconsin. Since then, I help out my family members for sitting at their places overnight along with a couple weeks on end. If I am to watch some dogs or cats for a couple of days, I would charge $70 per day. For drop ins to let them out and take the doggos for walks, I would charge $20-$24 depending on how far you guys are from me!
