About Maddie

Last summer, I worked at a sleep away summer camp, caring for up to 14 6-year-olds in the cabin by myself, as well as managing daytime activities for kids of all ages, and helping to manage their morning/ bedtime routines. This experience has solidified my desire to make a positive impact on kids lives! I have one year of formal experience caring for children of all ages (and informal experience from being the oldest daughter of 6!) and I'm comfortable with up to two children at a time. I'm patient, calm, creative, and friendly. I follow the parents' lead when it comes to enforcing household rules and always communicate using their preferred method. I enjoy playing outdoor sports, board games, and puzzles with children. I am also certified in pediatric CPR + AED, as well as general First Aid. I have a car, do not smoke, and am comfortable with pets (I have four dogs myself!) and I look forward to the opportunity to bring my enthusiasm and nurturing spirit to your family!
