About Maddie

Hi! My name is Maddie and I have a background in education, child development, tutoring, childcare, and pet care. I'm a certified teacher and previously worked as a special education teacher. I currently work in an elementary school supporting students academically, and offering additional help throughout the summer. I'm also in the final stages of my masters program, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and go to my internship in the afternoons, so morning availability or weekends works best for me. I'm easy-going, positive, reliable, and love creating a fun and supportive environment for kids. I enjoy outdoor sports, board games, creative activities, and making learning engaging through educational games and hands-on play. I also have experience with behavior management and supporting a variety of learning and emotional needs. I have reliable transportation if needed and absolutely love animals, so I'm happy to help with pets as well!
